It is designed for precise measurement of unknown self-inductance. The instrument comes with all essential components mounted on a teak wood case for durability and ease of use, making it suitable for laboratory and educational purposes.
  1. AC Source:
    • Sine wave signal at 1 kHz
    • Amplitude indicator lamp provided on Bakelite board
    • Two output sockets for AC signal connection
  2. Detector:
    • Inbuilt null detector with digital display for detecting small AC signals accurately
  3. Circuit Layout:
    • Spread-out circuit layout for convenient operation and clear understanding
    • 4 mm sockets provided for making connections
  4. Unknown Values:
    • Instrument supplied with four unknown inductance values for experiments
  5. DC Supply:
    • 5 V DC supply available on the board for DC balance
  6. Resistance & Capacitance Dials:
    • R1: Three-decade dial with ×1, ×10, ×100 Ω
    • M: Three-decade dial with ×10, ×100, ×1000 Ω
    • C: Decade dial with ×0.01 µF
    • R2, R3, R4: Fixed 1 kΩ each
